After a really warm March, the April freeze did a number on pretty much everything in the Nashville area. Old trees look like they've had a hard first Fall frost. Dark brown tree tops everywhere.

All the flowers that had sprung up in March and were about to bloom are toast. Mushy toast.

But as usual, God has things under control. Things will spring back and in the meantime the early butterflies that survived still have my phlox and some other wildflowers to feed on.
