Personal Journals and Records

I know my memory falls me at times and can't remember when
I planted that cherry tree or how long did it take for my cosmo seeds
to germinate last year?

I always wondered if anyone else keeps records/journals of their garden endeavors.
I know some do record info in books but what about on the internet?
I would love to easily see other gardeners records and pictures.

Hope their are other people out there like me who can share.
Please post if you do.

Here's MineGarden Endeavors

Thanks,

Patsi

I used to have a large calendar with enough space for each day to write what was blooming in the garden or any other pertinent garden info. It worked really well when moving plants that were not in bloom at the time so I could coordinate things better. I kept it up for several years.

Hi: I use a software called Flower Software. Great for storing your pictures, keeping a journal each day, fertilizer schedule, favorites slideshow and lots of other great options, all for $29.95. They even send updates for free. Well worth the money. You can go to the website and look at a video demonstration of the software. Happy Gardening!

It would never dawn on me to purchase software to record, store and share my garden records and pictures.
But thanks for the info.

Google blog is free and you can see it for yourself
if you click on my blog or(my page) and these items separately...

~all perennials~new perennials~annuals from seed
~annuals from garden mart~shrubs/trees~links page
(where I keep useful garden links and info like when I use neem oil),
~winter feeder birds(cause I can't garden in the winter !),
~farorite pics(just because)and ~camera info (if you want to know).

I guess mine is like a summary of gardening endeavors.
Not a daily journal, more like a season to season historical reference with necessary pictures.

I how have seen many other blogs.
BUT it seems that the lists are small like 3 or 4 plants and or stray away from gardening and pictures.

For me a blog or like makes more sense than doing in in a book
(I can't read my own hand writting)its more easily read useing the computer
and the pictures are free (except for buying the camera).

Hey, I would love to see some "garden photo blogs" or "slide shows" of anyones favorite pictures.

Thanks,
Patsi
