Just gorgeous, Joan. Perfectly framed and so sharp.

Very impressive. I love the colors and the translucence of the flowers. This makes me want to plant bleeding hearts! Do they do well in central Tx?

I don't know, but you can probably google them or ask a garden center.

That deserves to be on a plant website or in a catalog! Who wouldn't want bleeding hearts after seeing that pic? Beautiful!

Wow! What a great pic! OK so now I want to try growing a bleeding heart, any idea if they can survive down here in FL?
I've done a little research & found they can grow in zones 3 - 9, technically I'm z9 but think I'm at the upper end close to z10. Anybody?

you really captured your plant in all it's splendor, just beautiful.

nbutler ~~ worth a shot, just keep them in complete shade. maybe you'll get to push the zone limit.
