This strange Gooey substance popped up in our garden overnight. It's located in a walkway area in the veggie garden that is covered with woodchips and is up against a railroad tie. Anyone recognize it? If so, suggestions on what to do to get rid of it?

It has the wonderful name of "Dog Vomit".

yes there are many types of fungi and this one does look like vomit. There is this weird mushrrom growing under my crabapple tree it only last a day then it deflates theit has a long pink rod like stem and its topped off with the shape color and texture of goose poop i have not a clue of what it is, but i dont want to touch it lol
