My guess is that it's a Mock Orange aka Philadelphus. Does it have a luscious perfume?

My Mock Orange almost died on me, last winter. It has lovely yellow and green variegated leaves, so it's not as hardy as most. Some shoots have started regrowing near the bottom of the plant, so there is hope...
