Absolutely gorgeous. My iris are up abour 4 inches. But they won't be as lovely as yours no matter what. How do you make the area look nice after they have gone by? Also, we have a lot of blue flag, wild iris. they are lovely but smaller and less intense. We do love them, though.

Thanks Susan and Magpie. I'd love to see some pics of your blue flag iris when they bloom. Plants that kind of produce a mass effect are great some years.

As for what to do with them later, what I generally do is plant stuff that will screen them as it gets bigger later on. I often sandwhich it between Texas salvia and Mexican Sage.
