I read that the red tip photinia can be cut back to 6" tall. Is this true?

Do you have an overgrown Photina that you need to reduce to six feet? Or are you asking if one could easily keep it as a six foot shrub. If the later, then yes you can. You will need to shear it from time to time.

can you cut a six foot red tip photina fraseri shrub back to three feet?
