my daddy's boots

My daddy passed away in March and I took these boots from his garage and planted some flowers in them. I made a little memory garden in honor of my mom, dad, and mom-in-law.
My daddy's nickname was "Boots"!

RE: my daddy's boots

Sorry to hear about your Dad. Your garden is so sweet. I have a wisteria vine I am training around a trellis in my Dad's memory because he loved wisteria. And for my Mom, I have planted her a Golden Chain Tree, because that was her favorite.

Awesome idea. I love memory gardens. Gardening is therapuetic in and of itself, but a special place to remember your loved ones is extra special. Bless You.

I'm so sorry about your dad! That is a lovely memorial for him and your loved ones! A great idea to use his boots.
