Common-looking, I know, but one of my favorite warm purples.

Very Beautiful! Sorry for the stupid question - but is the variety called going my way? Cause I would like to get one. Thanks Golden

That's it exactly -- 'Going My Way'. Tough plants: They were planted in entirely the wrong spot for the past 3 years, never blooming because they were eaten to the ground by slugs before they got 4" high. Last year in the Fall I moved them and now they're throwing up super-healthy looking growth and amazing flowers. I'm very happy with them.

Nice pic. This is a proven excellent iris :-)

RE: Iris 'Going My Way'

Not common at all. Yours is only the 3rd one that color I have ever seen in my entire life, and only within the past 2 years. It knocks my socks off! I finally got one this year, too, for my "Red Hat Society" garden, well, that is the plan. I have a long way to go to plant more red and purple flowers. But this Iris tops the list.
