DH built this arbor last year; 2nd picture shows the rose to better advantage this past spring. Remaining pics are the pergola he built over our deck, with Sw. Autumn Clematis. I love my DH! (smile)

Oh my goodness gardengirl. The Cecile Brunner on the arbor is just too beautiful for words, soooooooo beautiful! Your DH did an excellent job on the arbor. Don't you just love the autumn clematis too? I've decided to grow it everywhere, fortunately it seeds itself everywhere too. Keep up the wonderful work in your garden and share more.

Thanks Yardrat

Thank you, yardrat. I love the sw. autumn clematis, although it's another that doesn't know its season (at least at my house); blooms in August; the pic is from last year. The green lizards and spiders enjoy it, too. You're so right, it DOES reseed, so free plants! Good luck with yours.
