New Garden

Here's a photo of a new sunny garden I planted on what was a grassy slope in my backyard. It's around 60' long and 10'to 25' as it curves down the slope. I scattered some poppy seeds there last fall and they really helped to fill in until the other plants have time to become established.

It's hard to believe that last year at this time I was mowing this area!

Lookin' good John. I like the architecture you have built in to it.

Your backyard looks very inviting.

Your garden is a huge success! I have a lot of success with Poppies from seed also. And the arbor is wonderful. I built one very similar using landscape timbers, and it was quite a job. Good work!

WOW!!! Your garden is beautiful...I need to show this to my husband and try to talk him in to building me a arbor like yours.

It sure beats a bunch of boring grass doesn't it? You've made a nice place to sit and enjoy your work.
You have inspired me to do something with my Red Hot Pioker plants. They are languishing in deep shade now.

What part of the country do you live in? That's always nice to know in the gardening world.
