Another Hypericum - Hidcote

This one looks like concentrated sunshine. I know its common but it does put on a display and just lights up the garden, despite criminal neglect.

I have four of these, so far only about three feet high. At least a couple will have to go when they get bigger.

shrubs_n_bulbs I will have to take another photo for you. As you know this plant sends out suckers. One of these has gone right up the middle of a nearby cypress hedge. It has reappeared at about 6 foot in height and is flowering like mad. It looks like I have suspended a hanging basket of yellow flowers on the side of the hedge.

"Concentrated sunshine" - good description!

This is the photo. The main bush is to the left but you can see how the sucker has branched out inside the hedge. The clothes post is about 7 foot high so you can imagine the height it has made.
