Prairie blazing star

I have a small prairie plant section in my front yard. I went to take some photos of the prairie blazing star (my favorite of the current blooms) and a bee decided that he wanted a photo-op. Enjoy :-)

Thanks you everyone that said something nice. I was amazed that the photo turned out so well (minus the wires in the background).

Great picture! The blazing star/liatris are beautiful flowers. I like the color, the unusual appearance with the tiny "arms" reaching out in spirals, and the fact that the flowers bloom from the top of the flower stalk downward.
