Rudbecka and dahlia

I was pleased how these turned out! The rud is planted beside this dahlia (which is hidden in leaves and pulled away to get pic of dahlia.

I can't wait for the dahl to blossom next to ruds.

Pretty flowers. I love rudbeckia's but, my clay soil and less than ideal drainage does them in. I have done in five or six sets so I have finally given up on them. Thanks for sharing yours with a guy who has to admire them from someone else's garden!
