Pretty cool...We had found a couple on natural plants that they like (I am drawing a complete blank on the name of this plant and I know what it is :my daughter has a Butterfly bush and a few weeks or so ago she said it was covered with butterflies...

    Thanks Juanita--

It's nice hearing from you. All my monarchs have hatched out & flown away! Last year I had allot that didn't hatch out, but this year I had only 1 that didn't hatch out of about a dozen crysalises.

juanital, the name of the plant you were trying to think of is asclepias or butterfly weed. I've had it in my garden for years and years and nary a monarch :-(

That and milkweed. (Which is also asclepias.)

I was freaking at first when I saw these last year. Then I looked them up and found out they were Monarch's. Eat away boys!
