| The orange and yellow flowers are your standard African Marigold. The purple are a variety of (unidentified) astilbe that were already in the yard when I moved in. This astilbe is a really wonderful plant -- nothing eats it, it doesn't get any diseases, it's drought tolerant in shade and good soil, it spreads modestly by runners and makes for a nice naturalized look, and its blooms last longer than any other type of astilbe I own (any other plant, period -- except my Zinnia pumila). I'll be collecting seed this Fall, in case anyone's interested. ;-) Thanks for the compliments! |

| One year Burpee came out with zinnias in this color combination too. Grew them and they were beautiful. Like your flower combination! |
