I am so glad to hear you call that a maypop. Thats what I called them growing up - they grew wild. Beautiful picture too.

Must be passion flower,just never heard them called Maypop before.Wonder where they got that name.
It sure is a beauty though.

passiflora incarnata(passion flower) called "maypop" because it dies down in the winter and sprouts next year from the roots in May.It just pops out the ground in one day and grows very fast.
