A path that got finished, with mowing strips and solar lamp post.

Still trying out different gels to soften the blue-white light.

i don't remember which photo you mentioned silver spraypainting a dead dogwood(oh how i mourn dead dogwoods), but, along that line....and maybe you've already done this... i'll never forget the kick i got on one of my first visits to heronswood, when i saw the cleverness of the boys, who had orange spraypainted some medium sized woody/gone by allium flowers and placed these on some euphorbia specimens (a variety with the orange undertones of course!!)
    best,

Here's a closer look at the 'ghost Dogwwod'. The March drought this year finished it off,
    though it was already ailing.

I'm a spray paint fan. Just discovered 'caps', what the graffiti boys carry
in their pockets. You can get sharp thin lines or wide, diffused fans, and change the caps
at will. They're dirt cheap at online 'Graffiti supplies' (!)

Great trick at Heronswood, That must have raised some eyebrows, even in the PNW!

Ooooooo - just love that ghost dogwood! It is a poem . . . .

Now I will be looking in my woods for the right-sized dead tree to paint silver. It would really glow in the shadowy light of the woods. Fantastic idea.
