Clerodendron bungei . . .

One mans trash may be another mans treasure. This is true of
clerodendron bungei also called `The peanut Butter Plant`, Rose Bower`, or Cashmere Bouquet`. This plant has a truly beautiful flower and when the leaves are crushed the aroma is of Peanut Butter. Here is a closeup of mine.

Like peanut butter? What kind of peanut butter are you eating? lol
I have two of these, and I swear (though I agree that the flower smells good) that the foliage smells like a big ol' multivitamin. Straight up yukky. In my family, we call it 'stinkbush'. But the flower really is great!
