Didn't know they had tree frogs in Illinois!

We have tree frogs here, but nothing like that. Is that leg dislocated? Poor thing.

Yes, its a frog. His leg is not discolored - its yellow in the inside. I was removing some coleus plants from my windowbox to replace them with mums, when I grabbed this plant and felt something move. I screamed! LOL! It was this little fella. I guess I woke him up. Anyway, after I took some pics, I picked him off the plant (yes, I wearing gloves) and placed him on the ground. He hopped away just fine.

I said dislocated not discolored; as if pulled out of its socket. Happens often with frogs.

Nope, it didn't look like the leg was dislocated. It hopped away just fine.
