RE: What is this flower

Hi Doug...I've just joined this website and I was taking a look around to familiarize myself with the setup. This is my very first post! I know next to nothing about landscaping so I was quite surprised when I recognized the plant in your photo! I've got two in my back landscaping...just planted this year. I'm pretty sure it's Hello Yellow Butterfly Weed or Asclepias tuberosa 'Hello Yellow'. Of course, I'm just reading the back of the tag that came with the plant :)! The description is as follows: drought tolerant perennial with clusters of 2-4" waxy yellow flowers in summer. Milkweed-like seed pods form later. Good cut flower. Height 1-2 feet. Flowering time summer. Exposure Full Sun. Hardiness Zone 4. Does this sound like your plant?
