No, I didn't know enough when I began to make a comprehensive plan. I tried a few times, but kept changing it as circumstances changed. Gardens evolve and mature as well as the mind. I kept learning and acquiring plants as fast as I could start them from cuttings, seeds, and trades. Some were even purchased when I couldn't resist or, had an extra buck in my wallet. It wasn't often, believe me. I grew most in raised beds until they were large enough to use for my landscape business. The area in the picture was once raised beds with small plants all lined out in rows. Slowly the garden got landscaped and the raised beds were a thing of the past, especially since I retired three years ago. I am doing a lot of editing and pruning now as well as planting out trees and shrubs as they mature in the nursery area. |

| Gorgeous! I am jealous my yard isn't large enough to do that. Wonderful work! |
