Great pix, Werner...nice thread! I'll have to think about this awhile, in order to choose just a few pix of 05 in review. That'll be tough! Back when I'm able!

    Nice pix, everyone!

    Jeff Al, Love the clematis!
Carol23, the doubled blood root is gorgeous. Hope mine will make a nice clump like yours. How long did it take to establish itself like that? What is the plant with the wonderful foliage in the second photo?
Rosemarie, Thanks so much for always sharing. With all of your lovely pictures, I imagine it will take quite a while to pick favorites!

Werner, I recently heard there are at least a dozen different double bloodroot forms! Yours looks a bit different than mine. I've grown the double for quite a while and have divided and shared it. I like trading!
I was sent a double form from Ohio and potted it up. It will be interesting to compare.

Hydrophyllum canadense is the leaf. It fades to green later in spring, but is worth having for the few weeks of ornamental value.

All the photos posted in this thread are gorgeous! I love the variety.

This thread makes me get the plant catalogs out again and revise my wish list. Jeff, I LOVE your 'blue ravine' clematis, and Klavier, your iris are just gorgeous. My photography attempts aren't the greatest, but here are a few that made me happy.

Sure, Kathi...and thanks! The 1st is a Florists' Cyclamen, I believe it's Cyclamen persicum. The 2nd (pink) is Clematis 'Ernest Markham'.
