Check the Petunias I just bought

I saw this today and had to take the home. I hope you enjoy the pictures. This are the truest black I've seen in any flower, although in the pictures I see purple hi-lites that you don't in person. I just realized they are slightly out of focus, sorry for that. Josie

Unusual I admit but I'd never buy them. I want color in my garden! Thanks for sharing. Where are you finding petunias blooming this time of the year? It's 21 degrees here and the wind is blowing fierously so I know with the wind chill factor, it's a much lower temperature.

Extraordinary!
I think I prefer color, too, but I might have to find a garden spot for these if I saw them at the nursery. They could be stunning framing the right specimen plant. Or, how about putting them in a bed with some white (or purple, for that matter) sweet allysum, silvery Artemesia, and in the center some miniature roses, perhaps bright yellow, cream, red, or hot pink? So rich!
Thanks for showing them!
Sandra

I like them.
Sounds like you are in extreme south TX, in the Rio Grande Valley. I grew up in that area. Winter would be the only time one could grow petunias. The rest of the time would be way too hot & humid.
