Any herbs for a serious vitamin B 12 deficiency

My mom is 86, and has to get Vitamin B 12 shots every month, sometimes we can't get to the Dr. because of all the major snow lately. Her Dr. said vitamins are to slow (I agree). Does anyone know of a natural Vit. B 12 or an herb I can grow this year to help her?

Is there someone else who can get her to her Doctor? I'm sure there is someone that can get through the snow since few places in America stay snowbound for as long as it would take you to grow an herb and harvest it.

In the meantime, you could check out foods with B12....

There are sublingual B12 tablets, which allow the B12 to be absorbed by blood vessels under the tongue, and bypass the stomach, which would help if there were stomach absorption problems. Some sources recommend the methyl form of sublingual B12. And I just saw on google a B12 patch that claimed to be more effective. But I assume more expensive.

Vegetarian sources don't contain B12 unless added for fortification, even brewer's yeast.
