I'm giving serious consideration to taking the Naturopathic correspondence program offered by Herbal Healer Academy. I was just wondering if any one here had experience with them, both good and bad. Thanks, Maria

I'm actually considering her herbal course...it's a toss up between her's, Rosemary Gladstar's and Gail Edwards (who I studied with for a week this summer) The only thing I know about Marijah is that she seems very committed to putting information "out there" and seems very sincere. If you put her name on google or dogpile to search you'll see that there was some legal machinations that the state of Arkansas (I think) wanted her to stop wording things a certain way in her advertisements. Part of it was the way she made claims about herbals and how they can help you...(which we all know do work--even without FDA approval) and there was something about her "accrediting" the naturopath course. She had to pay like $10,000 in fines and then reword most of her website and catalog. I kinda feel bad that her passion got her in trouble, and then on the other hand some folks do make claims that are outrageous...so who knows? Hope that helps. curlymom

I have no personal experience, but I wrote to a friend with your question, and her reply was: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my course at HHA. They are practice based and I appreciate the personal lesson feedback. Response is quick and accurate." Hope it helps, Lynn
