Field Eryngo

I am looking for a plant called field eryngo (Eryngo campestre). Seeds, seedlings or just information would be much appreciated. It is described in A Modern Herbal by Mrs. M. Grieve.

This is the same as Eryngium campestre. Seeds can be obtained here.

Historical uses for such things as "chronic nervousness", kidney complaints, cough and (the candied roots) as an aphrodisiac.
