Tincture gone wrong?

| Has anyone had a tincture turn slimy or get a big blob of gel like substance in the main tincture bottle?

| Did you use fresh herb or dried? If you use fresh herb with too little alcohol, that problems ... which might be nothing to worry about, but it could also go toxic (botulism or some other nasty) if there is too much water, not enough alcohol, not enough acid. |
