Herbs for garden?

What are some good herbs? Stuff with good uses..I get migraines, so anything for headaches, nausea..etc

Stuff for "emergencies" (cuts,bruises,wounds..etc), stuff that taste good in tea, or herbs that are generally healthy..

I prefer if it were native to Southern Ontario..I'm zone 6b

So far, I'm thinking about yarrow (41 uses, and it heals all plants around it!), bergamot, catnip, valerian, stevia and lavender..

RE: Herbs for garden?

Are you planning a garden for shade or sun? There are many native medicinal plants for shade or woodland gardens. I frequently share info and pictures of native medicinal plants on my personal blog: Our Green Neighbors and I suspect that many of your native medicinals are the same as mine - I'm a neighbor across Lake Ontario in Western NY State.

Any books and resources on First Nations herbalism will certainly identify many native medicinal plants for your location.

As mentioned in the Herbs forum, be sure to educate yourself on any herbs before using them.
