Hi All I am into herbal medicine and teas-did my first

Started a cough and congestion -took some with water and it worked.
Quesions I have:
Alcohol if used what proof should I use?
where is cheapiest place to stock up on it?
On not using alcohol I noticed some use glycerine where is the cheapiest place to buy this?
Questions about herbal plants if you dont have these in your garden,on certain tintcure's is there a place cheapier online everyone gets them from?
And last question where do you all get your beeswax from for making salves?I saw they had them on ebay is that the cheapiest way to go?

Your standard 80 proof vodka works well.

You local liquor store. Buy the cheapest brand.

Never priced it. Google it and compare.

Again compare on-line for the specific raw herbs you are looking for. If common "weed plants," check to see if anyone local to you - who does not use chemicals in their gardens/lawns will let you weed for free. Great amounts of herbs can be procured that way.

For retail, you can try local health food stores, Frontier, Mountain Rose, and plenty of others.

If you are asking about where to get tinctures, same answer applies.

Local beekeepers directly and farmers' markets they or their products frequent.
