Rosemary and Crohn's disease

Hi,
Lately I've been doing research on rosemary and its uses in herbalism and I'm running across several websites that contradict one another so I was wondering if someone could give me a better answer to my question.

My mom has Crohn's disease and I adding a chapter to my Herbal Grimoire about Rosemary.
Some websites tell me that Rosemary shouldn't be used when the person suffers from Crohn's disease, while other websites tell me that you should.

Crohn's disease is an inflammatory disease that affects the digestive system and irritates the bowel. While Rosemary is an anti-inflammatory and digestive supportive herb.

Could someone explain me why Rosemary isn't a good combination with Crohn's disease? I'd just like to understand why this herb shouldn't aid with Crohn's while its properties help with everything against Crohn's symptoms.
