(in an attempt to make this relevant to an herbalism forum): are you proposing specific herbal alternatives to reduce preterm births and infant mortality?
Health care is not evenly distributed in the US, this says nothing about the efficacy or safety of the interventions, it also says nothing about the efficacy or safety of any herbal alternatives. The countries you are comparing the US too are using western med too, they just distribute it differently.
Why are two medical people spamming for medical care on an herbalsm forum? Have you noticed that when these two have no answer they attack the message or messenger? Has anyone considered that people survived for millenia before the gods of western medicine came along. Nothing takes away the fact that the US has a rotten healthcare system and are making only a feeble attempt to improve. The rest of the world is improving at a much faster rate. but why indeed should the US improve? They are being payed royally for shoddy work. It's only mine and your life after all.
