what to do with lemon eucalyptus?

Posted by eventfarm (My Page) on

I am growing some lemon eucalyptus in my garden and it's doing very well. I guess I need to come up with some use of it.

My first thought is insect repellent .... but aside from rubbing the leaves on my skin (which I do when I'm out there), how do I get the benefit from the plant into a spray bottle? I guess, distilling?

Any basic primers out there on distilling the oils?

Any other uses you might think of for this plant...

thanks!
