Black Tea

Take a strong infusion of black tea (2 tsp of tea leaves per cup of boiling water),without milk or sugar for diarrhea, food poisonig,or dysentery. Also a cantonese remedy for hangovers.

POULTICE- Place used teabags on tired eyes. (soothes the eyes ya know.)Damp tea leaves can also soothe insect bites.

Wash- a weak tea can cool sunburn.

CAUTION-Sufferers from irregular heartbeat,pregnant women and nursing mothers should limit intake to no more than 2 cups a day.becausehigh intake of caffene can lead to increased heart rate.

People with stomach ulcers should avoid excessive consumption because the bitter taste can stimulate gastric acid production.

Just for reference two Teaspoons of black tea is about 3.4 grams (0.12 Oz) and the average teabag has 2 grams of tea in it, but its very finely ground.
