| I need a support group - has anyone else seen the video going around of the guy dancing to the Numa Numa song from 'Chicken Little'?
Originally heard in the company of a certain 4-year old son of a friend, I just saw the video the other day, and I can't get it out of my mind. My friends and office mates are looking at me strangely because, while otherwise composed while composing monthly operations reports or repotting a plant, I'll suddenly break out, bust a move, vogue, and start doing the Numa Numa, as seen all over the Web. Help, I need help, but not quite yet - the guy cuts the rug quite nicely. |

| And for all of you to enjoy, the lyrics, first in Romanian (?), then in English, Alo, Salut, sunt eu, un haiduc, Vrei sa pleci dar nu ma, nu ma iei, Te sun, sa-ti spun, ce simt acum, Alo, alo, sunt iarasi eu, Picasso, You want to leave but you don't want don't want to take me, don't want don't want to take me, don't want don't want don't want to take me. Your face and the love from the linden trees, I call you [over the phone], to tell you what I feel right now, |

| I find it difficult to believe that this unworthy subject is bringing this bit of pop to the attention of you most learned and hip personages, but there you have it. I guess I've been under a rock when this was going around, but if any of you had previously seen it, how could you not share it with the less-informed? Shelly, Don't shoot the messenger - I'm like the government, and I'm here to help. |

| The song itself has been around for a while--it was a #1 dance hit in europe for months (and definitely made the rounds in the clubs in North America) and months (it's by O-Zone, a Romanian pop/dance outfit, and the song is called Dragostea Din Tei). This new thing with people singing it on their webcams for the internet is pretty hilarious, though! |
