Weeds weeds weeds! Mulch Mulch Mulch! and I have not started my vege garden. On a sad note, I brought the norfolk outside today but did not stake it...it blew over and broke off 2 branches...ouch says the norfolk.

Awww, sorry to hear about Norfie!

Just think of how much worse off it could be; a friend left hers out over winter thinking they were like regular conifers though I kept telling her the cold air coupled with rain & snow would kill them. She didn't listen & then complains that she has a black thumb with everything she tries growing.

Now she wants palms for those big pots on her patio/sidewalk in direct sun.

I FOUND MY SHOOTING STAR! Also a jack in the pulpit. The norfolk looks OK. I am not sure what I am going to do with it. It has outgrown my house. It looks nice under the tree but come fall, it's time for a new home or maybe air layering.

I want big palms in big pots too-not in the sun however
