| For better or worse, Star has been my constant companion as I've worked on the upstairs bathroom ...and why wouldn't she be; it has a great view of the back yard and the always-full-of-birds crabapple tree. When she gets tired of looking out the window or sticking her paws in mortar, she needs a place to nap.
The sink is only set in place (to make sure I cut the hole the right size & shape), not plumbed in or fixed down. This was taken a few weeks ago and I've since finished the countertop, and tiled the wall behind. Um, let's see now,...plant relavance...Bathroom has a pair of west windows, but summer sun is dappled because of crabapple tree. With bathroom humidity and dappled late sun, it'd be a great place for ferns. Ah, ferns....Kitty mesclun! |

| Dear OooJen, Nothing like finishing a project, eh? Bathroom sinks have a long a fabled history as cat nap repositories (as if I need to tell you!). I see that there's a roll of Priortiy Mail tape there. Did you know that there have been so many unauthorized uses of it (people even going so far as to use it to construct boxes for plant sales at local C&S meetings, I've heard) that the Post Office has discontinued it from the items they send those folks that have a mail account with them. Luckily, I found a case of it in a dumpster, so I can continue to use it in the only manner that is approved - mailing boxes of plants. I tell you this so that Star doesn't get served a subpoena for using it for purposes other than mailing Priority Mail boxes. |

| How about some Sans in there - succulence in the bath house! |

| I love these kinds of shots. My kitties don't care as much for the sinks as napping places because they like me to leave the faucet dripping so their water is "spankin' fresh", they all prefer the cast iron skillets to be left on the stove for their sleeping comfort! I'll have to get a pic. That's too cute! That Priority Mail tape is pretty valuable! There are folks on the EBay boards who would pay good money for it because it smells like vanilla to them(not to me, but what do I know?). |

| Hi Jen, What a cute picture! For some reason my kitties have never found the thing to be a good cat nap spot. Maybe they had tried it out when the basin was wet. Larry |

| Oh so cute! A few of my kitties have a passion for napping in the sink. In Fox's case it doesn't matter if there is water in there or not...strange cat.lol I have also noticed that brown tabby's have a tendency to help with home improvement. Mine had a passion for stealing tools while she was helping. I think she learned that trick from the dog.lol Foxy. |
