Larvae on peace lily

Hi there, does anyone know what this is on my peace lily and how to get rid of it?

    I can see the image but I really have no idea what it is showing. Can you post another which is clearer? I see some green string/rope and a black plastic object - I think.

    I think I know what you are talking about. The yellowish/whitish stuff, right?

    You might want to look up images on google of root mealybugs and see if that looks like what you are seeing.

    Thanks for the response guys, I found all this stuff on top of the soil as well?

    Those are basically mushrooms...working on decaying organic matter. It appears there may be bark in your potting mix.

    Aha - that's better. Those are fungi. Not a problem imo. But could possibly be a symptom of too much moisture.
