Thanks! When my Mom received it, it was already turning red so I knew it was about to bloom. That being said, I didn't do anything myself to make it bloom.

But, I used to have one just like this and all I did was provide it with some morning sun from an eastern window. I misted it a couple times a week and once a week, soaked it in water for an hour I think it was.

That is cool! I haven't seen one of these for sale in like 15 years. Recently a lady on FL forum posted a pic of a little tree with several of those blooming in/on it. What a wild little plant!

I saw a couple at Lowes this year glued inside of an open globe but they were drying out already and they were $8! Mom ordered this one online. They're definitely hardy!

I grow those in my shadehouse usually flowering in may.
Hopefully you'll be able to grow them into a "clump" really spectacular with a couple dozen in flower !!! Good luck with it I've nevr grown one in the house gary

Thanks! I gave my first one away after it finished blooming (what was I thinking) so I never got to see it clump.
