I salvaged a 10 ft pothos from a dumpster

I salvaged a 10 foot pothos from a dumpster. The four feet nearest to the roots has no leaves. The distal 6 feet looks good.

I am not particularly interested in creating a lovely specimen. As a frustrated mad scientist (I had to quit my research assistant position and a get a real job to earn sustenance.) I want to tinker with the thing to see if I can force leaves from the proximal stem. Any suggestions?

Hmmm mm I don't know but sunlight and the proper watering would probably make it be nice

I don't think it grows new leaves from existing segments, but it might grow whole new shoots. You could give it some time to recover, then take off the tip.
