These plants go dormant occasionally, explain in this recent discussion. Hopefully it is that, and not actually rotting from too much moisture.

This pot just came out of dormancy. Akkkkk I guess I'll stop watering till it's bone dry. If this one does die I have more posts of them Akkkkk I have NEVER over watered before ever.

Maybe organic ingredients in the mix have broken down?

Winter is always difficult for these plants, when I had them, I let them stay dormant over winter, untill sufficient daylight was available again. Have patience, let the soil dry out and wait some more time, maybe till February, then change the soil and let the tubers sprout again. I live in North Norway, and here we have very little light now, but also in southernmore areas the light may still not be good enough.
