Indoor Winter; January Rubber Tree Care

I will post 3 diff pics of my rubber tree. It does exceptional well spring-summer but when fall-winter comes it starts to turn another cheek and this time it's completely different than last winter. I replanted it during the summer in miracle grow cactus mix and orchid bark. It's in a giant ceramic outside/clay lined pot. I think maybe I shouldn't water the plant at all during this time because when I do the leaves start to yellow and fall off. These ate any size leaves but there the older ones. There is new Growth which slows I see greatly in winter. I water this plant 1x a month during winter like I do all my cactus/succulents. Should I skip watering all together? Any plant care tips for rubber trees during winter will be appreciated. I live in Maryland: townhouse dry air here but my temps is 75 year round. 2 windows but the sun is in the back and where this plant is it's not getting very much light basically low light.
