I think it's a pretty easy plant to keep happy. Bright light keeps it from stretching out more than you'd like. It won't like a soil that stays soggy for any length of time, and tips brown easily if the level of stuff dissolved in the soil solution (usually from fertilizer and tapwater residues) gets too high. Basically, life for this plant runs pretty smoothly if you have a nice bright, warm spot for it to live and keep it in a soil that allows you to flush the accumulating dissolved solids out w/o having to worry the soil will remain wet so long it will cause problems with root health or root function.
