Is the first one Daphne odora 'Aureomarginata'? If so is it growing indoors successfully? Its a winter flowering garden plant here.

Your Daphne is just beautiful...I have two just like that..

One is outside buried under the snow, and the other dormant on my porch...No leaves at all, just nubbs waiting for spring...One is exposed to the frigid weather, and the other not under 32 but very cold..I wonder which one or two will make it? I wanted to keep it going like yours but was not sure if they needed a dormant period for flowering..

Looks like yours is going to flower..Does it bloom several times a year? Mine does.

I also have a few of that airplant..I love them..How do you water yours? And keep it that healthy?

My Daphne plants are budded up outdoors, as well.
I did not think they would grow inside.

jujujojo - my Dad had the Daphne growing beside his front door along with Iris unguicularis. Both bloomed in late winter and were most welcoming. He died in March so I won't be seeing them again.

BTW, I still ask myself why you post beautiful pictures but don't name the subjects, even when you know them. I never know if it is an id request or an id test.

I thought these are common plants that have been mass-produced. That is why, sometimes, I forget to explain the name. I am sorry for your father's passing. My parents are happy and healthy.

Flora, so sorry! My Dad passed in March also.

I'm pretty sure my Mom has a Daphne like that in her yard (in same town.) New attempts to propagate some for my yard are necessary! I don't wander around her back yard much when it's cold, only sniffed it twice I think.
