Does anyone know where I can buy these tubers & NAME WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR?
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY TO SHARE WITH ME. I NEED TO GO TO OTHER PLACE ON COMP TO DO THIS. I AM NOT TO GOOD ON COMP.
IF SOMEONE SENDS ME DETAIL INFO PLEASE WRITE SO A LAYMAN CAN UNDERSTAND IT. I HAVE GARDENED FOR MANY YEARS AM A SENIOR PERSON BUT DO NOT KNOW ALL TERMS YOU SOMETIMES SPEAK OF.

I think you're referring to florist's gloxinia, now known as Sinningia speciosa. Davesviolets.com carries many Sinningias. There are many species, some very small, some quite large. These plants belong to the family Gesneriaceae. Others in the gesneriad forum here might be able to help you more as although I grow many gesneriads, I only grow one Sinningia.

Tarras..I too think you're talking about Florist Gardenias. Is this the plant you're referring to?

Gloxina

Toni got her tongue twisted, lol. She knows a glox from a gardenia with her eyes closed. ;-)

I'm going to try to plant them from seed again. That was 30 years ago. Has it been that long. Wow! They were not to hard to grow from seed. The only thing was a lot of them were purple if I remember correctly.
