looking for hardware for indoor hanging baskets

Years ago I had a track system for hanging plants. It consisted of a white metal track (like track light but no electrical) and sliding swivel hooks. Each piece of track was 3 feet long. I have searched the web to no avail :( Does anyone know where I might find something similar or where I might find the individual parts to rig up my own? Thanks!

i've been interested in smth like this too. can't find anything specific like you describe.
there are plastic hooks for green houses that mount into the frame or under shelf, like this:

which are good, but you need a piece of frame!
then there are curtain tracks. hard to say what weight they can carry though.

then there are pot rack hangers - they are usually heavy duty, but short.
and then there are commercial ceiling strip clips - lots.

the simplest solution is to hang boating/fishing swivel shackles on the long pole(pipe/bamboo,rebar) that you attach to the ceiling via more eye-hooks.

I know exactly what your talking about. I had a Ex who had one in his house. Was the coolest thing ever. Never before or after did I see one for sale like it. Did you ever find one? Best I can figure is to DIY one with some galvanized tubing and S hooks.

I was looking for the same thing. Years ago I had 2 and they were the neatest thing. Can't believe I can't find them anywhere. I guess me and my mom are going to try a diy with curtain rods. Thanks and have a good day.

Not as cool as what you were thinking, but looks easy. I would paint it and hang plants at varying lengths to make it more visually appealing.

The next time I go to Lowe's or Home Depot I'm going to see If I can buy the materials to make one like I had. I don't think I'll have any trouble finding the ceiling track but I'm not sure about the swivel hooks.

I still have mine. It was called Plant Track if I remember correctly. I have it on the ceiling in my home office. Wish i could buy more of them. It consists of a white track or bar that is 48" long, mounted on the ceiling, plus 6 hooks that slide on that track to the position you want them to be in. So for example you could mount it in front of sliding glass doors and move 6 plants left and right to adjust the distance between the plants.

Ellatiarella: Long ago when I lived in PA, I also had this Plantrac system (actual name). The company was in Plainview, NY, and is out of business, I wish I could find something like this. It allowed one to move and spin the plants on the track which was hanging from the ceiling. The swivel hooks were hollow and shaped like half spheres with a hole in the center where a hook protruded down to hang the plant. There was some kind of notch to keep the hook from falling through the hole. Got mine from the defunct company Key Distributing Company of Pittsburgh....I wish I'd have removed them from that apartment when I moved!!!
