 o
Deiffenbachia leaf problem

A couple of leaves on my small Dieffenbachia have weird translucent ares on them, mostly around the edges. It looks like of like when you put a greasy burger on a piece of paper, and the paper turns a little bit clear.

Any thoughts?

Thx

Cold damage?

I agree with the previous poster. If you have exposed the plant to cold temperatures or even a cold draft in your house, it will have this kind of effect. Dieffenbachias are quite sensitive to cold temps/drafts. The damaged leaf will not repair itself. You just need to make sure it is not exposed to cold any further and wait for new growth.
