 o
prince orange philodendren leaves

I have a prince orange which has strange
leaf development. Some but not all leaves
begin from a stem with the tip of the leaf
attached to another stem, eventually
as the leaf grows the tip separates from
its stem. See in this photo a current leaf
that the tip has not yet separated.

i have scanned many items on internet
about prince orange and have not seen
any mention of this peculiar leaf development.
Is my plant unique, or are there others who
have seen this?

Park, I've looked at a million POO Philodendrons, and can honestly say I've never seen a Philo that grows like yours..

Maybe someone on the forum has though...

I think it's cool. :) Toni

I've seen that on my heart-leaf philo, but not very often. Looking at them today, I see none like that, so can't share a picture. :-)

Are you saying the leaf is not unfolding correctly?

Take your cell phone/tablet photos in landscape, bottom of the phone to your right. That way, you will never have orientation issues.
