Watermelon Pepperomia

I had one of "those" days yesterday and needed a pick-me-up. So, what better way to do that then to go plant shopping! I found this at a local Lowe's in a 2 inch pot for $3; couldn't resist the cuteness. I apologize for the glare but it came up really dark without the flash. I couldn't resist sharing this cute guy with my GW friends.

I totally agree...this plant exudes personality and cheerfulness.

Very cute! Plant therapy is the best therapy there is. :)

Ooh those are pretty leaves. It looks like maybe the "silver" is inside the leaf, like on Trad. zebrina. Like there's glitter inside them. At a glance, I would have thought that was a Begonia.

So much cheerfulness and personality, it had to come home with me. :D

Plant therapy is the best and cheaper than a therapist hehe.

It does have a silvery sheen in the leaves like a Trad. zebrina. Now that you point it out, it does kind of look like a begonia. Funny to imagine it's related to our 'Emerald Ripple' Peps.
