| The buds on my Easter Cactus finally opened. My daughter says she likes these blooms better than the Thanksgiving or the Christmas cacti we have. I love them all. |

| Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I am really excited about my new holiday cacti. I hope I can get them to rebloom next year. elkay -- From what I have read and from the shape of the segments (pointed), I would say you have a beautiful Thanksgiving Cactus. All the retail stores now market them as Christmas Cactus because they bloom earlier than the true Christmas Cactus. I found the following website very helpful. http://cactus.biology.dal.ca/paulS/christmas/christmas.html |
